MD-Toolkit — cover

The challenge

Off-the-shelf CRM is powerful — and often wrong-shaped for the work people do every day. Staff bounce between modules, re-key data, lose track of multi-step sales motions, and improvise onboarding in email and shared drives. Marketing wants trackable campaign assets without a developer on call. Consistency suffers; speed suffers; the system of record becomes a system of friction.

What the business needs is not another generic dashboard. It needs tools that map tightly to specific use cases — the exact sequences the team already runs — so day-to-day work gets simpler, faster, and more consistent.

The fit

MD-Toolkit is a suite of tailored user tools for Moore Dixon, built as SuiteCRM enhancements rather than a parallel system. Staff sign in once with their CRM credentials; each tool receives a short-lived SSO handoff and keeps data where it belongs — in SuiteCRM.

The suite currently covers three high-leverage workflows: a guided Sales Funnel, a Campaign QR Generator, and Client Onboarding with document capture. Each tool is deliberately narrow, polished, and opinionated about the happy path.

What it does

  • Sales Funnel — multi-lead guided workflow from new lead through activities and conversion; personal targets for leads created, qualified, pipeline value, and closed-won, live from SuiteCRM
  • Campaign QR Generator — create Active Web Campaigns and Trackers in SuiteCRM, encode the tracker URL in a downloadable QR, and open the tracked link without leaving the tool
  • Client Onboarding — search a lead, create Account / Contact / Opportunity in one pass, attach typed documents with expiry dates, and finish with clear CRM record IDs
  • Single sign-on hub — one authenticated toolkit; same-tab navigation; dark/light comfort for long sessions
  • Data stays in the CRM — enhancements on top of SuiteCRM, not a shadow database

Craft notes

This is atelier work for operators: domain language, fewer clicks, and UI that mirrors how Moore Dixon actually sells and onboards — not how a generic CRM menu is organised. Multi-lead support, resume-in-place, and aggregated targets match real sales behaviour. Onboarding collapses what used to be a patchwork of forms into a single “Do It” moment with documents attached correctly the first time. The result is less rework, cleaner audit trails, and commercial process that accelerates without losing control.
